The COH Magaliesberg Tourist Map

THE CRADLE OF HUMANKIND - WORLD HERITAGE SITE - MAGALIESBERG MAP

The AA has produced a map for the Magaliesberg for over 30 years now. Recently a decision had to be reached whether or not all businesses would be removed from the map hence the establishment of a partnership between Magaliesberg Maps and the AASA. It only made sense to combine all these entities including hospitality, businesses, Tourism Organizations and Municipalities onto one map. The aim is to incorporate the complete Magaliesberg Mountain Range area including Pilanesberg, the Bojanala district – namely Rustenburg & surrounds, the Magaliesburg area, Madibeng - Hartbeespoort Dam, Brits, Muldersdrift, Kromdraai, Honeydew, The Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site, Lanseria, Muldersdrift, the WRDM region, Tshwane, Dinokeng – including Roodeplaat, Cullinan and surrounding areas.

The Magaliesberg is the oldest mountain range in the world and now with the synergy between all stakeholders on the map, we can produce and publish a map for the area which will be affordable for advertisers, informative to the tourist, accurate, to scale, with correct routes from Pretoria, Midrand, O.R. Tambo and the Greater Johannesburg area.

This map will be aggressively marketed through all forms of media, nationally and internationally and will be readily available. Earlier this year, The Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site recognized a desperate need for a map of this kind and became the official Brand Alignment Partner.
